Google Think recently published an intriguing article debunking three commonly-held beliefs about how consumers use digital and mobile media during their in-store shopping experiences. One of the most interesting conclusions: 85% of people surveyed said that they would be “more likely to shop in stores that offer personalized coupons and exclusive offers.”
That’s a big opportunity for banks, credit unions, and merchants. Consumers appreciate meaningful digital experience of offers delivered at the right time and place. This makes them more loyal to the organizations who made it happen (their FI and the merchant). Creating a local mobile discount program is a simple and affordable way to add value to users and to drive traffic to your local business community. Win-Win-Win (that last one is for you)!
